Dr. Breese Quinn and the DØ Experiment win the 2019 EPS High Energy and Particle Physics Prize for an outstanding contribution to High Energy Physics. It was awarded to the CDF and DØ Collaborations for the discovery of the top quark and the detailed measurement of its properties. Breese Quinn, a professor in the department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Mississippi, is a Member of the DØ Collaboration.
