Research Interests
Dr. Gupta’s main research includes gravitational wave physics, astrophysics, physics of neutron stars and black holes, tests of general relativity, and cosmology. Dr. Gupta is a member of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration and LISA Consortium. Dr. Gupta works towards the detection and parameter estimation of gravitational wave signals coming mostly from binary systems composed of neutron stars and black holes.
